Should i change the fuel filter?

ok so i have basically done a complete tune up except the fuel filter. Change the oil. put a new air filter in new plugs and new wires. is what i have done. so should i replace the fuel filter. I bought the truck about a month ago. 1990 chev truck 305 motor Now im bit afraid of breaking the old one lose because held on with nuts on each side. its made of pot metal. the filter like a pop canShould i change the fuel filter?A fuel filter is part of a regular tune up...so..if you haven't changed it yet...and you just got the truck...then I would seriously consider changing the fuel filter.Should i change the fuel filter?change it. put one wrench on the filter nut and one on the adjacent line fitting to prevent from twisting the filter in two. do the same on the other side. a dirty fuel filter can cause all kinds of problems and it is worth the fifteen minutes it takes to change
