Is it possible to change the fuel filter on a Mazda 3 without replacing the entire fuel pump?

um, yeah. the fuel filter is integrated into the fuel pump assembly making it unserviceable unless u pull the gas tank %26amp; given that u can find a fuel filter. mazda does not sell a fuel filter either. it comes as an assembly with the fuel pump %26amp; fuel level sensor. Gasoline is so clean nowadays that a regular fuel filter change is something most companies are not even worried about ne more.Is it possible to change the fuel filter on a Mazda 3 without replacing the entire fuel pump? You should be able to, but some of these late models are set up where you have to pull the pump out of the tank and replace the fliter and then reinstall the pump, but I didn't think that Mazda was one of them. The filter on a Mazda 3 should be under the car on the sub-frame, about under the front seats on the passenger's side.
