Im trying to change the fuel filter in my1998 gmcsafari.I pulled the fuel pump fuse to relieve the pressure while engine is running but after I remove the fuse the engine just keeps running.Afraid to remove the filter because I think its still pressurized.Any suggestions please!Changing fuel filter and pulled out the fuel pump fuse while engine is running to relieve pressure but engine?I'd suggest pulling the relay rather than the fuse, but it will continue to run for a bit until it has used the fuel in the line. there is no need to depressurize the fuel filter
