Trying to change fuel filter on 1992 ford f-350. (under rail)?

Removed clips and fuel lines wont come off. I am afraid to pull too hard . Dont want to break connectors. Is there a secret to removing the lines from the filter?Trying to change fuel filter on 1992 ford f-350. If you've done it right and can twist them a little a pull a little harder they will work.
