Remove the rear seat and lift the cover on the floor. Remove the two fuel/vapor lines, the electrical connector and the 8mm bolts (8 of them??) Then lift the pump module up and out of the tank and take it out of the car through the rear door.
Unless there is a problem, the filter should never have to be replaced.
